XM Exchange eouu.cnment: The Federal Reserve's interest rate decision in July remained unchanged, but there were significant internal differences on whether to cut interest rates. First of all, the number of people during the resolution was uneven: Federal Reserve Director Coogler absent from the meeting for personal reasons. Moreover, Kugler did not designate an agent to attend the meeting, which is unusual. The outside world speculates that the differences within the Fed may have reached an irreconcilable point. News came out yesterday that Kugler officially resigned and will leave the Federal Reserve on August 8. According to the normal term of office, he will not step down until January 31 next year. This has aggravated market suspicion about the Federal Reserve.
In the July resolution, two of the 11 voters voted against and nine voted against. It can be seen that the majority of voters who favor maintaining interest rates remain unchanged. If the U.S. labor market data deteriorates in the second half of the year and the Federal Reserve cuts interest rates sharply, Trump will achieve his goal of low interest rates. On the trend structure perspective, at the daily level, the US dollar index is in the bottoming stage under the long-term bear trend. The latest band is an upward trend, with a high of 100.23 points. However, due to the excessive resistance at the 100-point integer mark, the rising band has a long negative K-line here, and the market price returns to around 98.5. The bottoming structure and the subsequent upward band have not been damaged, so the medium and short-term trend may still be relatively long. The upward trend line in the figure is the bottom line. As long as the market is above the trend line, the bulls continue. In addition to the resistance zone at the 100 integer mark, there is a higher resistance zone of 101.95. This point is the highest since May.
